Hi,
My brother and I are huge train photography fans too. Could you vote on a Union Pacific Commerical Remake? It only takes a moment of your time and would really be helpful. He is using some of his favorite photographs that work for the commercial. Here is the website to vote: [link]
Thank you so much!

Hey Brandon, your latest shots seem to be just fine. If I'm seeing anything, it might be that you're saturating your colors just a touch too much, but I'm guilty of the same crime. How's life treating you in eastern Kansas?

Okay. The saturation thing I have to be careful of. My home monitor likes to show stuff being a little...lackluster...for lack of a better term.
KC is doing alright. I'm close to getting a complete grasp of all rail operations in the area down-pat, thanks to some timetable books and a couple of pages on the web. I work literally right next to the BNSF Fort Scott sub, and it's not much further to the Emporia sub from there (about 300 yards), and my house is close to the UP Parsons sub.
Things are good. I have five weddings this year so far (hopefully more) and a handful of portrait sessions to work with. CP Craig is busy as ever, and BNSF is slated to begin building their intermodal exchange facility down in Edgerton (if they haven't already), since Gardner pretty much kicked the project to the curb (gotta love yuppies).

I'm glad BNSF found another place to build it. I can't stand NIMBYs.

Agreed. I especially hate the ones that build their houses next to the second-busiest transcon line on the continent, and then bitch about the noise.

Those people need to shut up and sell their houses to railfans.
