No. I used to be on the board for the shelter but now I primarily do volunteer work. Taking photos and having them posted on web-sites hopefully helps get them adopted. Hopefully you will find a way to follow your dreams. Good vets are always needed.

It has been a long time since I have gotten on DA. My sister is doing much better. She is at home and being transported for therapy 3 times a week. She has aide services daily but I think they will be able to cut back from the 16 hours a day soon. She is so happy to be home with her dog.

Now that Christmas is over, I'm getting ready for my big trip to Australia and New Zealand. Hope you had a wonderful holiday and wishing you the very best in 2012.

All is relatively well here. My sister has progressed to a residential setting and is still receiving therapies 5 times a week. Maybe in a couple of months she will be back home. Still a lot of unknowns as far as being able to drive etc. She is progressing much faster physically than mentally as far as short term memory goes.
