(i.) scarlett should know better than this. but let's just say that she was currently a bit preoccupied with an unrelenting spirit. the brunette was trying her best to ignore the ghost, and by that she means sipping on her soda and looking the other direction. but at the point when the apparition tugged on her hair, letty snapped.
"will you just back off?"
(ii.) the teenager whispered angrily to what appeared to be nothing, at least to the normals. yet when her eyes snapped forward once again, they landed on an onlooker. letty froze, an awkward smile crossing her lips.
"uhh...hey"

{ πΈ } The humanoid robot hadn't noticed the odd manipulation occurring behind the scenes. He had just assumed that this person was either crazy or had the odd tendency to talk to themselves... Kinda like he did at times. He slowly approached the other, darting his eyes back and forth in a nervous fashion. He did not want to seem rude -- but his natural expression tended to appear intimidating to newcomers."I-Is there... Something wrong...? Or are you just speaking to yourself...?"

(i.) that was a lie, but sometimes it was better to lie than tell the truth. scarlett's green eyes flicker over the robot carefully, making sure to keep her distance. she may look like the crazy one in this situation, but you couldn't be too careful...especially in a city like this.Β
"now if you'll excuse me, i gotta get home"
(ii.) letty replies sharply, merely brushing past the male without a second glance.

It wasn't often that Andrew found himself to be...bored.Β Boring, maybe but... well, there's not much going on.Β Sitting down quietly in a bench, he pulls a deck of cards from his pocket and literally tosses it into the air.
Instead of scattering everywhere though, the cards rearranged themselves as they fell - landing in a neat stack in the palm of his outstretched hand.Β Β

Sitting down at another bench, the robot had been watching the other for a brief moment, but he quickly turned away in disinterest as it was nothing new, really. He stared up at the sky and leaned back, wondering what he should do next... He could've been working on his "robot uprising" project, but it was incredibly lonely without his partner. Letting out a sigh, he swung his legs a little and kept glancing in the other's direction, hoping for something interesting to finally occur in his day.

He flipped through the cards in his hand - the deck had managed to completely un-shuffle itself too.Β Wondering how else he could demonstrate his ability, he eventually notices the stranger near by.
A robot?Β This one certainly looked more advanced than the machines he was used to seeing, "Are you from the Court?Β I... don't remember seeing anything about them making human-like robots now." The Court - the place Andrew lived in - had a rather large robot population, but none of them really looked human.Β They had a human-like intelligence though so...maybe?

The robot jolted slightly in surprise, not actually expecting the other to interact with him. In a nervous panic, he sat up straight and attempted to keep eye contact -- although it did not last very long. "A-Ah, um-... No. I do not reside there-.... At least I-I don't think." He knew that the 'Court' was most definitely not his street name, but the stranger made him feel so nervous he couldn't think straight. The fact that his own appearance seemed rather suspicious in the environment wasn't helping, either. ".... W-What brings you here?"

Andrew noticed the others uneasiness, and shrunk back a bit in an attempt to show he meant no harm, "Oh...well, it looks like they might have competition then.Β Most Court robots don't look human..."
Leaning back in his seat, he gives a bit of a shrug, "Nothing really...just traveling a bit is all.Β I don't get to leave home all that often." He talks as if this is all completely normal to him.Β Then again, Andrew has seen some pretty strange things in his lifetime.

"Of course they have competition. Not only do I exist, but a ton of us are being produced!" He suddenly perked up, feeling a bit more confident than before. Though he was still nervous around the stranger, he managed to crack a small smile of pride. "Just wait until the world is revolutionized. I'm not the only leader starting technological revolution, either~" The robot leaned back again, allowing himself to relax.

"Hmm...our neighbors might take issue with that.Β They already don't like the Court much because of it's technology...and we don't need to be giving him more reasons to cause problems."
Him being several beings really...but powerful beings nonetheless, "As long as people don't start using that technology to hurt each other...a little progress wouldn't hurt."

Kiibo was not surprised to hear this... Of course, most of the population would joke or seriously argue about an AI uprising and how dangerous it'd be. "... It's too late already. There are army robots being produced at incredible speeds." He sighed quietly, subtly observing his robotic hand. "Have you ever considered that the machines might hurt humans without the command to do so? ... You know, in the case that they become self-aware."

"It's already the case back home, if you can believe that... robots being self aware anyways.Β Most of them are fairly civil...so long as you treat them right."
He casually flips through the cards in his deck, "I even know one who's fallen in love with someone...love isn't something a being without emotions or self-awareness could feel."

He stood up, leaning against the bench and smiling slightly. "Oh, that's adorable! Has it fallen in love with a human?" Kiibo had fallen in love with a human himself, but at the moment he'd rather not admit to such. ".... Do you think they're going to get married?"

"Hmm...not human, exactly.Β But close enough I suppose...most shadow people loathe being considered human...but this one seems to be okay with us.Β Okay enough that he got exiled by his own people for not hating us." It's a bit sad but, it turned out good for Shadow in the end, "And I'm not sure...I don't see either of them very much.Β Though, if they wanted to, I don't see why not."

"Exiled for not hating you... That's a society lacking in free thought." Kiibo stared down at his arm cannon, playing around with certain physical features using his other hand. He couldn't think of much else to say in response. "I-Is there any reason in particular that you approached me...? Did you need anything?"

"I mean...they're not completely unjustified in their hatred of us.Β Their creator did kind of abandon them in favor of humans so...yeah.Β I can understand being a bit bitter about it.Β Still, you'd think they'd direct it at the one who left them behind...and honestly, a Trickster God's favor isn't something to be envied." Andrew simply shrugged his shoulders.Β He'd ask ShadowΒ²Β why the Glass-Eyed People continued to hate humans as much as they do, but that guy's lived in the Court his entire life...and going back to his people did a whole lot of no good.
At the question, he simply shook his head, "Not really...it was just a curious sight seeing a robot outside of Court custody or ownership.Β I don't get to leave home very often...heh, maybe I can show you around one day.Β Gunnerkrigg Court has quite a bit of advanced technology in its own possession.Β Some of which the world's never seen before." He shoves his hands into the pockets of his hoodie, and offers a friendly smile, "My name's Andrew, by the way.Β Andrew Smith."

Upon hearing the word 'creator' in that context, the robot's mood immediately began to plummet. As crushing as the words sounded to him, he attempted to keep a smile on his face. Wouldn't want to burden some stranger, right? "... I-It's a pleasure to meet you! My official name is K1-B0, but I like to be referred to as Kiibo..." He paused for a moment, gazing down upon the floor and swinging his legs a little. "I walk this Earth like any other average person... I-I'd like to be recognized for the amazing technology I possess, however..."

( the dog pokemon was sniffing around at the ground as he walked, like he trying to sniff something out...actually he was. )
( there was this odd, unfamiliar scent, like...like machinery, however, it didn't really smell like oil or anything, just...metallic. )
( trusting his under-developed nose to find out what this mystery scent was, he wandered around aimlessly until his nose bumped something hard. he blinked, and his gaze shifted up to the robot in front of him. )
( he stared in mild confusion for a moment since he didn't quite know what a robot was, and since it looked human, he could only assume that it was a human. perhaps wearing some type of armor? )
( once he settled on the idea that the 'human' was okay, the pup barked happily and wagged his tail, satisfied with himself for finding out what that scent was. )" ruff!! "( sticking his tail in the air playfully, rockruff continued to bark enthusiastically. clearly he wanted to play! )" ruff ruff!! "

{ πΈ } Feeling the bump, the robot quickly jolted and turned around, not realizing that it was an 'animal' that had bumped into him. He scanned the area around him for a while before taking a step to the side, internally pondering if there'd be consequences following it. Perhaps if he moved, this unknown force would attack him out of nowhere?Β
{ πΈ } Noting that this hypothesis was incorrect, he took another step to the other side, wondering the same exact thing -- then he took a step back, wondering that same thing. It seems that nothing was happening... And apparently he wasn't smart enough to look down. Cautiously, he spoke with a slight stutter."... H-Hello? Is anyone there?"{ πΈ } Nervously, the robot held up his right arm -- which was equipped with a large cannon-like weapon. Still, he somehow couldn't understand that there was a 'puppy' right there -- even if it was barking and yapping.Β

( his position flopped into a sitting one, head tilted as he tried to figure out what was going on. he couldn't really help the fact that he was small, but that hadn't been much of a problem before. )
( maybe this was some type of game? that arm cannon didn't look like a game to him. )
( deciding he was too bored sitting and trying to think things through, the pup jumped up and began to run circles around kiibo excitedly, hoping it would garner him the proper attention. )" wuff wuff !! "

{ πΈ } With a startled jolt, the robot quickly pointed his arm cannon at the puppy Pokemon, turning around in circles with him as he ran around. He kept attempting to get a good aim on the thing without flying.Β
{ πΈ } Finally, he noticed this creature was not a threat and had resembled a domestic animal -- which must have meant it was safe. Feeling embarrassed, his cheeks turned bright red as he stopped spinning and sat down where he had been standing.". . . S-Seems it wasn't what I assumed."{ πΈ } The poor thing covered his face with his free hand and shook his head, silently contemplating to himself. The puppo wasn't going to get attention from him at a self-loathing time like this.

(i.) sunny simmons had a specific spot on the beach that she would go to draw...sketch...think about life. she knew that it was a vacant area of the beach, one that wasn't as populated by tourists or locals. but to her surprise, sunshine found that her spot was occupied by someone else.
(ii.) the golden haired woman clears her throat, sending the other a gentle smile.
"oh hey there..."
"this is a really nice spot, isn't it?"
