*Birthdays are special occasions and they call for special celebrations. Let us celebrate you birthday today!
Another year older, another year wiser. Well at least we are growing up to be what you meant to be. Here's to another year of experience. Blowing out another candle should mean that you have lived another year with joy and you had made this world a better place. Make every day of your life and every candle count. Have a Bday!
I hope all your birthday dreams and wishes come true.

[In response to your comment on DAC, as they have blocked me. (hence, art nazis)]
If I have no money to give them, I'm not stealing their livelihood. If it were finished work that I was claiming as my own, then yeah. But it's STOCK. It's sole reason for existing is for making art. I would be happy to credit the artists responsible for the vectors but it would still not be accepted. That's my point, I can't post it and say "I used this stock but I can't pay for it. If you can, please go here and do so! It's great work!"
If I could, it would help both myself, and the vector artists, buy driving traffic back to them.
Art wants to be free! Money Aint Got Enough.

Yes, but as I said there is free stock everywhere. Literally everywhere.
There are sites dedicated to free stock, and DeviantART has lots of stock that is free to use provided you credit the artist (and usually because they want to look at your finished piece.)
The point isn't 'well I can't afford this stock so I'll use it anyway, but I can't really credit them because I didn't pay' it's 'if you can't afford it, don't use it!' I do understand the frustration, when making animation projects for College, I have come across sound effects that would have been perfect, but I can't afford to pay £3 for a about 20 or so 3 second clips of audio... so I either have to find a royalty free sound or make my own. Because making your own is an option.
Taking stock you -know- is copyright and removing the watermarks is STEALING. Not only are you stealing stock, you are also removing the artists defence against thieves. It is very disrespectful to the artist/photographer in question. Let me also point out you are attempting to sell prints for several of your pieces... which would make you profit from their stolen artwork? To me that just stinks of wrong.
I would understand maybe having a couple of uncredited textures on pieces... still wrong but it is understandable. But to repeatedly rip peoples copyrighted work, remove watermarks and then claim that it's not fair you can't get accepted into a group because the GROUP is at fault. *shakes head*
I will also point out that you have several prints for sale... so your work is not entirely none profit as you said... and I'm guessing if those prints sold you would not spend the money going back and paying the artists for their stock work.
Please think about this from the perspective of the stock artists who made the pieces. It is bad enough if they take it as a hobby, but if they have a creative career, then you are affecting their livelihood. If they rely on their artwork to generate income then by stealing it you could be personally affecting them. Yes art wants to be free, but art won't get made if the artists can't feed themselves...

I've never sold any prints, except one to myself. And actually, if I made money off of stock I would be happy to pay the creators. I'm all about putting money from art back into more art supplies(stock included). I would just like to point out that I am not stealing anything. If I walked into a pottery shop and took a bowl without paying, that would be stealing. I made a copy of something. I'm not stealing anyone's livelihood either, for the following reasons. 1. they are not loosing any material resources(I.E. clay, paint). 2. they are not losing any money, as I have none to give them. 3. I'm not re-posting watermark free versions of the vectors, but rather, colored, altered, overlayed, and otherwise convoluted versions, thus, serving the purpose of a watermark.

Dude, Harri's right here. This is breaching copyright laws and you're just digging yourself a bigger hole by justifying the theft of these images. I can't add much more onto the previous points without repeating them all so I'm just going to leave it at that. She's giving you some sound advice. I suggest you take it.

Actually -it- is stealing to take someones intellectual property...
I'm actually offended you are trying to justify this, what you are doing is wrong but you are making yourself out to be just a 'poor suffering artist'.
It's not the artists problem if your work isn't good enough/popular enough to make money, they should still get paid for THEIR work. Especially considering that you couldn't make your art without theirs! You pretty much owe them to be able to make anything o.O
Time is a resource, a good vector/photograph can take ages. Not to mention all the time spent getting to the point where you can make said vector/photograph in that short amount of time. Let's mention equipment too! Money for software (it is unwise to pirate software if you are using it for commercial purposes) Money for a other equipment such as cameras, graphics tablets, decent computers for rendering... quality artwork tends to need quality supplies (obviously not always) and just because someone is using a computer/digital camera to make art does NOT mean that they are not losing money...
If you have nothing to give them then you should not TAKE their work! It is wrong, I doubt the artist who's job consists of creating stock, or who does it as a hobby but dedicates a lot of time and money to improving will think your 'art' is a good tradeoff for not getting paid!
If you can't afford it, make your own (it is not difficult to learn, I learnt how to make vectors in college at 16 in a few weeks after having never used Illustrator before) and if you can't make your own then maybe you should practise that? Instead of stealing other peoples work, throwing it together and claiming that everyone else is being unfair for telling you to credit them!

*£3 each for 20 or so clips
I realise I made the point about the prints twice, I did not realise this.
