Just watched Kamikaze Girls! I personally though it was very good and am planning on watching it again very soon. And I would also like to read the manga.
Mother thought it was good as well but found it to be "strange and violent at times." But she did laugh a few times!

I loved it, obviously. A couple of people I know called it "that lesbian film" but I didn't get that from it at all. Ichigo and Momoko were sort of reluctant friends that grew close, but I didn't read any more than that into it. I think my favorite scene is the part where they first meet. ("She spat!") I liked the music too.

I got no lesbian vibes from it either! I think Ichico and Momoko represent two distinct sides of a woman's personality and therefor work perfectly together. When they first meet is one of my favorite scenes too! I also like the part where Momoko meets God, faints, and then Ichigo beats him up. And the Jusco scene made me laugh. XD

It was a very interesting film for me in that I could really relate to Ichigo, but then I could also relate to Momoko's exasperation with her, too.
So.
Still have reservations about a K.G. photo shoot? Provided I can line up suitable wigs?
