I'm a professional advertising artist by trade from the New York City area. Born in the borough of Queens and spent my early days in Bayside. Bounced around Long Island NY while working in NYC studios and raising my family in the suburbs. Taking advantage of the ability to do my thing from my home studio for 8 years now. I want to apologize to you, because I've mistaken your tabasco baby-dragon as a professional advertising-poster of Tabasco and did a homage to your work. I hope that's okay, because I don't want to make the impression I've wanted to steal your idea or art.

No worries.. I'm happy the work appealed to you, and you thought it was a production piece. It's pretty rough around the edges when you look closely, and is basically a comp for what COULD have been a print ad. That's what I do for a living... show the client what an idea might look like in an ad. (OH..I see I did answer you below.. good for me, and hopefully you too)

I have finished my studies some time ago by now and work in a small company for textile print as graphic designer.
Mostly I do corporate design, print and illustrations there.

Hi Grace.. Ah... Mrs Melinda Moore at Stonegate Animal Hospital! I never hurts to drop a cool official sounding name like that even we're not actually veterinarians. Thanks for the kudos on the baby dragon! I really got lucky when the concept came to me. It's got some broad appeal across a bunch of groups. I'm not sure I could really duplicate the perfect storm that picture created.
I have to say, I'm not really up on my art schools these days. I will say in general, that its going to have a lot more to do with what you put into your education than what you can get out of your school. By that I mean if you are positively obsessed with observing, documenting and distilling what you see around you adding your own unique spin, you're well on your way. Start building your visual database and sketch ALL the time! Capture the world around you as YOU see it. There's no short-cut to putting in the effort. I've always felt fortunate to love what I do, and that only makes me work harder at it. When what you do for work is fun, working harder is very much like having more fun. What could be better?
