Well, right now I only have The Devil's Bris. I typically start with just one album from artists to try them out. If I like it, I start making my way up through their catalogue
Bris is pretty damn good. Reminds me a lot of Jason Webley, only more gypsy and without the Tom Waits-esque voice. Really good stuff. The violins and arrangements sound like something out of a Jill Tracy record.
If he ever comes to Mexico, I'll certainly do my best to see him live.
Emilie Autumn I know by name only, but I don't think I've heard any of her stuff

You HAVE to get Voltaire's Ooky Spooky and Almost Human. Almost Human is more serious a bit, and the lyrics to songs like "God Thinks" are brilliant. And Ooky is all about zombies and skeletons and dead stuff. And the newest, To the Bottom of the Sea, is all pirates and drunken mayhem. AMAZING. I am pretty sure he goes to Mexico. I hope so, anyway!

What album of his should I start with?

Well... he only has two albums to his name: Teenage Snuff Film from 1999. This one is great, perhaps the perfect place to start. The second one was released this year and is called Pop Crimes. Again, pretty good. It was recorded very quickly because apparently Rowland developed liver cancer and, unless he gets a transplant, doesn't know how much time he has left 
Teenage Snuff Film has this one song in it which has become one of my favourites [link] Here it's just Rowland and his guitar, but the album version has a whole band and a strings section.
Incidentally, when Blixa left The Bad Seeds, I was sure Nick would replace him with Howard (who played in both of Nick's early bands, Birthday Party and Boys Next Door), but alas Nick went on a different musical direction
