Not sure why it sometimes doesn't give a notification, though I do sometimes get so many that I miss most of them. (...though you may as well forget about notifications if you're using the app.) ...though 2015 would certainly be around the time I started on DeviantArt. Wound up unwatching many people, like, a year later because of the volume specifically, and the fact I was checking in less often. I was also starting to get lazy with my comments and making many people mad as a result. My memory has also become garbage the last few years.
