My manga influences are manhwa by definition, mostly Hyung Tae Kim and Boichi, but I am not sure if my art can be categorized as manhwa... I always thought I drew this style

Hello! If you have an interest in the amazing manhwa βTower of Godβ by SIU, we have a fascinating opportunity to present to you! Currently we are hoping to organize and recruit a group of motivated individuals that are interested in creating fan-toon comics based off of TOG. These comics could be fashioned from fan fictions, parodies, or short stories. We are hoping to publish a strip of the fan toons each week for readers along with the TOG chapter, thus this would require a large cooperative community. Anyone with talent in drawing, character design, writing, computer programming, or web maintenance is very welcome to participate in this project! Your talent will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. Our group also considers publishing written fan fictions of TOG as long as they are of quality and interest.

It falls under copyright infringement because of the clause of no distribution of the work and no derivatives. A photograph of someone else's art is a copyright infringement.

Copyright covers: credit for the work (attribution), the distribution of the work, and derivatives of the work. Plagiarism =/= copyright infringement. DA policy covers copyright infringement, with a slight policy of allowing fan derivatives as long as the fan has created the artwork from scratch. (i.e, photography of the another artist's work isn't allowed as well as photo manips). They are on the fence about their tracing policy.
Plagiarism and copyright overlap, but are not the same thing. You could copy all of Shakespeare and put your name on it--that's plagiarism, but not copyright infringement.
Anyway, pretty sure pictures of merchandise is against DA rules. I've reported such pictures and they've been removed before. It's not like you went out to create art.

but I don't get it, how is taking picture of a collection of manga considered copyright infringement? it's not as if I'm taking credit for Yun Kouga's work because I did list her as the author

Just a heads up, but the hangeul is typed wrong. Re-examine: κΉμ°μ It's reading Kim Yeon Ah.
For me, it's borderline. It's more towards realism than it is representing manhwa, which is a distinct style. You don't draw Korean stuff and get automatic "manhwa." Just like you don't draw Japanese stuff and get automatic "manga".
Manhwa is a sub-media of comic representation...

Ahh.. It explains it here: The correct transcription of her name from Korean script would be 'Kim Yeona' or 'Kim Yeon-a'. However, when she applied for her passport, she intended to write her name as 'Yun-a', but the official mis-wrote her name as 'Yu-na'. In Hangul 'Yuna' would properly be spelled "μ λ" and not "μ°μ."
