Traditional drawings can be very nice too

I'm 24. But I admit there were years I didn't draw too much, I should have drawn more, I would be a better artist now if I did. But well, I just do commissions from time to time, I have a "real" job next to that, and full-time, so it's not like I was doing art studies and drawing all the time

If you draw regularly (more regularly than me) you'll even be better than me at my age or before I've seen very skilled young people. But usually it's because they do art studies early and spend all their time drawing. But it's hard to "live" with art, and earn enough money to live etc... that's why I chose not to do art studies and to have a "real" job instead. I draw during my free time ^^

Oh I see... Well I chose to study art in the USA cause its what I love to do, I will take my chances, I always wanted to work for disney so the only thing that is left is to try hardly. I want to be an illustrator that was my dream and I will go for it. You are really talented! and you have to try to do something with your art than just doing commissions, well comissions are fine too but its really pity of not doing something else with your talent! I believe that you should give art a second chance!I have seen many artists and you have a special touch in your artworks that makes them different! Its your choice though!

I already made covers for magazines, etc (even if they're not famous) but I prefered choosing security, I didn't want to end up with nothing at the end of my studies. And I feared that doing art studies would turn my passion into "work" and kill the passion.

Don't worry I don't give up, I'm only 24, I have all my life to improve and draw I'm not retired yet!
