ha thanks a lot man!  yeah, it's been awhile since i drew anything.  the other night i was playing ffxiv and the servers went offline for maintenance, so i started drawing some of the characters.  it'd be nice to have it posted by the weekend.

thanks! sometimes i ask for ideas. often it turns out other people have different tastes than i do, and the things they ask me to draw are things i'd have never thought to draw... ever. either because their imaginations trump mine a billion fold or because i wouldn't have had interest in the topic.

meh, sometimes i get tired, like that recent storm drawing, i realized as i was about to flatten the image in photoshop that i hadn't put a shade layer on... but i was an hour late for work as it was. i work in animation, so i don't mind the flat look at all. prefer the two tone look, like sneefee does with her turtles [link]

thanks! in grade 8 some friends and i would rush together our own comics and have crossovers and stuff, they were AWFUL, and i don't still have them, but would LOVE it if they still existed somewhere and popped up magically. but no, other than that and the couple single pages i've posted here, i haven't done any other sequential work. animation keeps me pretty busy, but that's not to say i'm not interested. if i had a better grasp on drawing i'd definitely consider it, and hey, someday i WILL have a better grasp. unless a virus or an accident takes me first

Heh, reminds me of myself and my partner in crime when we were kids.

Anyway, if you'd be interested sometime in the future in learning - we'd be more then happy to teach you. We do a spin-off series called The Uniques Tales [link] that we use various artists for. If you're interested, we'll keep in touch and when we do another round of stories (probubly early 2013) I'll get you a little 5 page story to work on. I'm pretty confident you could do an excellent job - your style impresses me to no end. I especially love your facial expressions.
