Wow, the funniest thing just happened... I stumbled upon your HDRI tutorial, looking for hdri info for use in 3d apps, but that's beside the point.
Anyway, I ended up on your page and Tim Tregubov is the first thing I see! Haha i just graduated from Dartmouth, and knew Tim pretty well from digital arts... Actually i was one of the people in his group for his "Spooked and Confused" animation, maybe you've seen it.
Anyway, I just thought it was pretty dang crazy that of all the millions of images on deviantART, i landed here... really did a double take when I realized who it was. Love the photography, think I might even recognize some of the landscapes...

Yeah, it's kind of important to ask for permission before you go ahead and use someone else's image that they put time and effort into. For the future that's probably a good thing to remember.
Don't worry about deleting the deviation, you have me credited there and you aren't treating it like stock (in which case I probably would have asked you to take it down). I kind of wish you had made something on your own and done that effect to it, but oh well. Glad you like the photo.
