Just because you sin doesn't mean you aren't a true Christian. Christians are human beings, and we make mistakes. You are doing something that most people don't though, you asked for forgiveness and you're trying to stop the temptation. Here are a few verses that might help, take a look at them when you have the time.
Hebrews 4:15-16
Proverbs 3:5-10
Psalm 18:28-36
