There is more about it on the page (just click the link) but basically what we are out to do is have a contest each month of writing and pick 1-2 winners. At the end of the year, I'll be putting together a book to be published and sold where all the money goes to a Cancer Research Center to help the fight against cancer and find a cure.

Hi! Have more or less left DA. I just went to the haiku club and changed myself to a moderator but maybe I should have gone down to contributor. I may have inadvertantly messed up the settings - I told moyan about it but you might want to check them too. I clicked a box that popped up thinking I was saving the changes to my status but it said something about resetting things to default.

Thank you! Good to hear from you. I just got back from holidaying in England with family. We had a great time. I have had a nasty cold for the last few weeks but hopefully am beginning to recover now. I lost my voice and couldn't hear properly for a while.

I try... the move with John has over time made a difference, and even though I still have issues, i have more better days than I used to. Meantime, I miss you coming over to visit.

Oh that part I understand. You saw my journal - if you scrolled down enough, you'll see where I explain why I went quiet for six months (some people as you know thought I was dead even though all I had done was gone quiet while I needed what strength I had to try and recover, which I continue to do). John did help me keep track of some of the goings-on during those quiet months, like when you wrote about your depression. I knew some how you'd manage your way out of those darker times.

Actually, I said "recovery". The thing is, I will never be well, but being with John who is making sure I am on healthier supplement combinations especially to address my specific challenges (less hardcore meds that were doing more damage than good), I've been able to regain a bit more quality of life in a life extended because of such care. Not to mention we've been the best of friends, and love each other deeply, for many years. I'm happy to say that I have somehow had beneficial effects on him in turn.
Phew, I hope you don't mind the windy response. You are often in both of our thoughts, dear Cat.
