Every time I need to find a peaceful place to be mentally, I come to your pics. I love your elves and how you draw the beings of Tolkien's universe.

I'm sitting here trying not to cry. (It isn't working very well, haha...)
Your fics are the very reason I ever read the Silmarillion and the Lord of the Rings. All I had to go on in terms of canon when I found The Gift was the film trilogy, which I only watched for the first time in 2011. I fell in love with the characters you brought to life, and your writing had me laughing for days. And for the past four years, when I needed a place to relax and enjoy life for a little while, I would pull up one of your stories. I've probably read all of your LotR (and FF7, let's be honest) fics at least four times each. A lot of your Last Homely House canon has become my headcanon!
So it means a lot to me - when there are infinitely better artists out there - that you, in turn, visit my imagination for a little while and appreciate what you find there.
