Hi all, my name is Jose and I am a concept designer in the making. Hopefully I land a concept art gig after I graduate college in the next year. Just gotta keep painting and admiring the world! :)Anyway, for the time being I am here showing some of my work (keep in mind a lot of it is old, 2008-2010, I'm working on updating my DA) as well as admiring your work :) Us artists need inspiration and support from each other to keep getting better. I’m Miquel, coordinator of Il·lustraFuturs. I found your work in Internet and i want to invite you to participate in our Il·lustrafuturs award.
What is Il·lustrafuturs?
Il·lustraFuturs is the International Award for Illustration on main Trends of the Future. It is an initiative that wants to approach future trends about how cities, society, technology and environment is going to be in 2100 by illustrations.
Awarded and selected works
A professional jury formed by illustrators and science professionals will select, between all the proposals received, 15 works for the exhibition during a year in CosmoCaixa (Barcelona, Spain), three of them will be the awarded works. The authors will get a Wacom graphic tablet (Cintiq 13 HD model version). Furthermore, all the selected works will receive a masterclass about illustration given by Escola Joso professionals. The organization will publish its decision before the exhibition inauguration.
How participate?
Artists and illustrators who want to participate in Il·lustraFuturs should send their work following the instructions of the website formulary www.illustrafuturs.info . Deadline 9th January 2015.
