Heeeeey buddy. Just wanted to show you that I DID actually draw some stuff this Summer before school started, and one thing even made me happy enough to post up here. So now I've got SOMETHING. I'm not a miserable lurker any more! Huzzah!
Anyway, I probably won't be drawing much for a while now that classes have resumed and I'm struggling just to find enough time for the mu-zak, but at least I got one sketch done that's miles better than anything I've produced before. Just wait until I get that program you mentioned, plug in the drawing pad, and clean this bad boy up! Hell, some day I'll even shade it, make some adjustments, and put on the final details.
Thanks so much for all of your help. It was inspiring to talk with you and watch you work!

By the way, have you ever considered offering drawing lessons for the income? *Teaching* a skill is always another artform unto itself, but you've already got the eye you need to analyze other people's drawings and give them feedback. That's half the battle. Teaching is probably an easier skill to leverage than the drawing itself, too. That means more dollaz for your time!
