✦ Was it better before? This is the thought that has been visiting me lately. Of course, I, like any other artist, or indeed any other creative person who creates his or her own work, sooner or later had to face these thoughts. I have encountered them before, but now they are deeper. At the beginning of your journey, when you are just starting to develop and reach your first goals, you are filled with inspiration and determination, you travel a long distance and you get better and better time after time. When you look back and compare your creations after a while, you see the difference, you see the improvements and progress that you have made during your training. However, the further you go, the better you get and the more you know, you will see less and less difference. You won't have such huge leaps of skill anymore and you'll work harder and harder to shift. It's like a big snowball that gets bigger and heavier with each step. On the one hand thanks to this huge pool of knowledge and experience I am able to create really good work, on the other hand, when I look back I catch myself thinking that my work has not just stopped improving, on the contrary, it's only getting worse. However, sometimes thoughts are just thoughts. There is a good phrase, "learn to choose your thoughts like you choose your clothes for every day." So, even if sometimes it happens that you are disappointed with yourself or your work, it does not mean that you have failed. The main thing is not to lose your spirit
