........Ahhhhh...that first flash of gold....as the leaves relinquish the green of summer.......and brilliant golden birch trees against the green spruce.....much of what makes up the landscape here.

These are such pure, natural colors, Anita. It's as if you took the Photoshop eyedropper and touched some plants, trees, and flowers in my area, and made up a gradient with them. This is one of my favorite types of patterns--it's so flowing and gentle, a reminder of the wonders of nature!

Awwww...thanks so much Jean! It's hard for me to work in green and be satisfied with it, though I love green, so I was really happy when this one turned out. I always appreciate your kind and insightful comments!! Just wish I had the abilitly to type these kinds of longer comments under all the images I view....but am thankful that at least I can do some.
