Artistically speaking, it's been a bit hard recently to keep that creative motivation going....struggling to look for something "new" to keep the work "refreshing".....and feeling like "I can't find it"! Maybe it's just the "spring fever" or the surgery recuperation!

If you have to force yourself then that likely means you are not interested in the subject, at least, for the time being. I learn what I like to do by dissociation. In a sense, it's like writing a story. I watch my fingers spin a story as if someone else were writing it. I let myself be governed by doing whatever I feel like rather than doing what I think I should be doing. Maybe you will watch yourself take a vacation and walk through a door that you have never walked through.
