Description Next Part of my Griffin evolutionary tree: checking up on the lion-like descendants a few millennia down the road.

Notable Gains:
- Increased body size, now slightly larger than a Siberian Tiger
- Mammalian-type snout development down the beak, olfactory organs have increased in mass and sensitivity to increase sense of smell
- Primitive enameled molars have developed in the maw, and there are indications of future developments of canine 'fangs' that may soon be observed
- 'Advanced' pack/societal role behaviors
Notable Losses:
- Wings have devolved... Now too small for even short-distance glides, they are mostly used for:
--- a) displays of dominance between patriarchal males and challengers, or to seem larger towards possible foreign-species threats;
--- b) flapped to make noises as parts of dominance and/or courtship rituals, like grouse;
--- c) they are flapped sporadically when sprinting as another source of thrust/speed.
