Gyrfalcon's father was a skywing soldier who served near border of Sky kingdom, mother was icewing warrior. Father was compromised by his own fellow soldiers and executed soon after Harfang's (Gyrfalcon's younger sister) hatching. Mother keeped her both daughters as common icewings with some unusual features. Gyrfalcon is trustful scout, who doesn't suffer desert heat as much as common icewing, and often communicates with Blaze's forces. She becomes friend with Snakecharmer(sandwing elite soldier, serving for Blaze, also secret agent of Enclave) and get some interesting job proposition from her. She agreed quickly cause of discrimination from high circle of icewings and went to her first mission-finding missing Enclave's poison dealer, who disappeared few weeks ago. Her only clue was mysterious poison supplier- Venomous, who is the nightwing hermit with odd immunity for many deadly animal poisons and probably mindreading. Gyrfalcon will become friend to him(and even more) and the both will have adventures together in time near end of war, including Blister and her army(she's got her two dragonbites from Venomous) and involving Enclave(what is more like black market traders back then). Later, Gyrfalcon saves Venomous from Cinnabar's control(with mask of Voidbringer) and probably went to Sanctuary town among with him and her sister.

She is caring, diplomatic, wise dragoness. Also she finds out bright sides of Darkseeker(original name of Venomous) and helps him becoming better dragon(at least she tries to).
