Description
This work was inspired by a story that I heard. It goes something like this:Before we are born, an angel holds a light above us that carries all the knowledge and wisdom of the universe, and we know everything in eternity. The angel then takes the light away, placing a finger on our upper lip, telling us to be silent. The angel's finger leaves an indent on out upper lip forever. When we are born, we cry because we realize that we have forgotten everything.
So here, I have one reaching out to the light of infinite knowledge and wisdom.
Tools: bristol paper, prismacolor pencils and markers, white gelly roll pen

If that story is true...I think I'm glad forgetting things then XD Mom told me I never cried when I was born and rarely cried unless I was hungry. I was more of a laugher XD

I think all you need would be advertising or something because you definately could make it up with the "bigger artists" o.O

Well I certainly believe so. Sometimes I think that the most paid artists only get up there because they got out there, not that their "the best". I mean, I'll just compare something as stupid as pageviews at the moment. (Which I'm not saying they mean anything, but they are helpful in helping you figure how many people see your work). I have almost as much as you, for about half as much time on dA as you and a little less than half as much deviations. Now, not taking pageviews as a measure of skill or talent but as a measure of publicity and commissions, in the future I may have a better chance of getting one(If I did open them). I'm not saying this to be rude, or to actually compare us both because you definately deserve the work for as much effort you put into your art. I'm just saying you could try to find a way to get around. It always saddened me a bit to know that publicity can be another word for popularity, and sometimes that's stressful.

Well, I have been thinking of ways to get around, like joining clubs and visiting forums. The only issue I have right now with advertising and upgrading my account is money. It would be nice to have all those extra features, but I can't afford it at this time.
