Yeah although you drew him doing Shotokan, this technique is still used in Chon-ji Taekwondo (traditional style). It's just called a knifehand guarding block

Definitely wrong style (he uses Tae Kwon Do), but the image looks great ^^! nice work!
Also if I may ask, is there a technical term for the blue pencil? >.o *feels idiotic*

non-photocopy blue
steadtler makes regular ones you can sharpen, and through blue line you can order mechanical refills.
