The best way to learn about drawing fabric is to draw it from life. Different types of fabric behave differently so if you can get a few kinds that would be good.
Take a stool or chair and drape the fabric over it. Then shine a light on it from one side. Maybe pin up a few parts to make some interesting folds, and try to draw what you see.
Studying fabric this way over time will help you understand how it behaves. With that information, you'll be able to draw it more confidently over any form.
