I was looking for male stock for Lu'thea's charge, Peter...and I found this and was thinking: since Lu'thea protecting and training Peter, a young man thrust into a fantasy world he isn't prepared for, is a turnaround on the "knight and the princess" it might be an idea to have LU'THEA carrying a WOUNDED Peter like this. She is as tall as he is: 6ft. I dunno if this guy is 6ft, but it doesn't matter.

Don't you just like the role reversal? I'm NOT trying to be a social justice warrior or anything; I just write and create what comes to the fore of my mind. I like the idea of turning a trope on it's ear. The knight saving the princess has been done TOO often now, from a narrative perspective. It may be rare, but there are women who are stronger than men, especially in fantasy contexts.

Did you find my comment because I used the term "social justice warrior" or are you do you frequent Senshistock's page a lot? The way I created my female half-elf ranger was thus: she was a person first lol. I didn't try to think "what would a female ranger be like?" She came straight out of my subconscious and influenced by both Spock and Stephen King's Roland of Gilead.

Are you asking me if I have any drawing of LU'THEA OF THRALE up??? HAHA. I'm not making fun of you, cause I didn't even mention her name lol. Omg, there might be TOO many. I've been drawing her from four years, created her in a novel in 2006, but only recently nailed her design model down to make me happy.

The top one is the more recent design model, the one I'm happy with, although I haven't done it yet in my usual way: hard black lines.
And no offense was taken! There is nothing wrong, principally, in social justice...it's the specific issues and how one goes about making change that's important. A lot of people go WAY overboard, even if I agree in their particular issue. For instance, the way to solve the wage gap is not to scream online; it's to encourage more women to take STEM courses in college and NOT gender courses LOL. Discourage them from focusing more on their family, because often men go further in career because they NEGLECT their family. I personally think balance is a good thing. However, if you really wanna do well in anything you have to almost be OBSESSED with it lol. It's one reason I'm not better at art: I don't spend a HUGE CHUNK of my time doing it. I'm lucky if I do 2hrs a day, maybe 3.

Doing stuff like this is half the reason I work out. Β I don't want to lose my ability to carry my gf around. XD

I'm sure my husband could pick me up like this but I don't think there should be any stairs involved lol

With enough willpower I think he can do it. Β lol. Β As someone who's carried furniture up and down stairs...can't say I could though. Β I carried my gf bridal style down a hallway and up some stairs to her seat in a movie theater once but steeper stairs would pose quite a challenge. XD
