This is a drawing of Isis I finished this morning, wanted to pratice my protraits and shading a bit. I know I have to improve alot, hopefully I will get there

sorry i'm about to be a pain, but that's hathor, not isis. hathor was part cow part human, or symbolised as a woman with horn and a sun disk between them. isis was part cat.
other than that it's gorious

Thanks, but Isis was never part cat. Here is a page about Isis here, she often depicated in different headresses as well as the same sun disc that Hathor wears.

What's to improve? Practice, maybe, but I'd say this is pretty top notch work. The hair detail is particularly impressive, though the headdress is equally well done. I also like the way you've done the nose with the shading, rather than relying on a hard line.

I'm really into the whole afterlife thing they had going, and the mummification of their "special" dead.

The book of the dead was my favorite thing to read as a kid, I am in to the Mummification and the afterlife side of things too, and in to the gods and goddesses, Isis is my fav ^_^
