Just like everyone Guardian, Miuriel received a custom made spear pendant/weapon after passing the two, yearlong tests.

Abilities:
Guardian Training: Like all Guardians he was trained in various dual handed weapons and polearms as well as hand to hand combat. Included in his training was to be able to use a wide variety of minor magic focusing on assistance and defensive types in order to adequately be able to protect his charge. While some of the magic might look impressive it’s all pretty basic, although some of it is very old. Most of this magic would fail miserably if matched head to head against someone who studies magic.
Assistance Magic: Miuriel has a greater skill in assistance magic than most other Guardians. This means that he’s skilled in being able to amplify and enhance other people’s skills/magic, and has an easier time using higher ranked defensive skills than his siblings.

Charge Inherited:
Silverling abilities: As Kilik’s Guardian Miuriel inherited some of the attributes associated with the Silverling race. This means that he also has the same metallic compound in his body (mostly in the veins) and can cause it to collect in certain places as a sort of armor. His ability to make claws is limited, they only reach about 3in(7.6cm) and aren’t as sharp as Kilik’s.

Personality:
The biggest and most notable attributes of Miur is that he’s blunt and overprotective. He doesn’t believe in hiding his opinion because that only serves to allow the other person to continue doing what they’re doing unawares. Even if whatever they’re doing is bothering people. While he seems like a brat, he’s pretty mellow and docile; listening to others openly and obediently doing what Kilik asks. He also doesn’t get along with new people very well because not knowing what they like or dislike makes him uncomfortable.

History:
Being only two years older than Emiris, Miruiel is the closest in age to him. While they had different caretakers, they still pretty much grew up like close brothers and Miuriel is probably the one you can be the most accurate in calling Emir’s brother. The two Guardians spent almost 24/7 together, having mostly the same training and school classes. Miur always liked sparring with Emir and excelled more easily in physical training like weapons and martial arts, but always lost against Emir’s speed just like everyone else. Miuriel was also one of the ones who never worried about Emiris’s lack of height and weaker strength, knowing early on that the Guardian’s style wasn’t to muscle your way through things.

After ‘graduating’, Miur was bonded to Kilik when the scholar was a teenager and actually got along with him really well pretty quickly. Kilik understood Miur’s personality and fortunately had one that worked well with it. Since Kilik and his family already knew quite a lot about Guardians and had even met others before, they knew what to expect and Miuriel’s transition into their family was smooth and easy. Since it was the time of peace, Miuriel’s duties weren’t as oriented to protection as historical Guardians and became more of a tutor and companion for Kilik. When the scholar started dating and got married, Miuriel and Kilik’s wife bumped heads in the beginning but were eventually able to smooth things over well enough. They still don’t quite get along extremely well and Miuriel isn’t as likely to listen to her as he is to Kilik. She is also the one that started the joke that Miuriel was Kilik’s first wife and eventually adopted him as ‘that stray teenager orphan to take in and watch over’.

Presently Miuriel still acts as Kilik’s double mostly. He helps the scholar keep up on his work load by doing small things like running errands, cooking, watching the kids, or helping with research. With the war started up again, his duties also included protection a lot more now and over the years he’s learned to use the Silverling abilities he got from Kilik. Although he’s quite pathetic when it comes to using them effectively and he only really uses the defense part.

Extra facts:
He’s actually a pretty good cook and enjoys doing it. He’d never think of doing it professionally though. It’s just a hobby.
He’s not super good with kids when they start crying. He gets a long pretty well with Kilik’s son, but not so well with Kilik’s daughter.
Miur isn’t as willing to use magic to heal others though unless really necessary. Overuse of healing magic inhibits the repair system because it doesn’t have to work and grows dependant on the magic, therefore Miuriel doesn’t heal small things in order to make the repair system continue working well.

Sparring with Emiris.
Cooking.

Dislikes:
Meeting new people. He always seems to make them mad unintentionally.
Holding babies. For some reason they always cry.
