Description I love this fabric and I hate this fabric. It looks so pretty and shiney, but it makes loud swishy noises whenever you move and it wrinkles easily but you're not supposed to iron it -or at least I don't think it can handle heat and I'm too afriad to try it- and it rips easily. At least it doesn't unravel easily too. You can see here in the front where it ripped yet again, sigh....and I just haven't felt like cutting it off and evening it out and re-hemming yet. oh well.

One time when Hilary was borrowing it someone stepped on the back and a huge hole ripped right on the butt. Poor thing, she had to wander around holding the back of her dress all day, heh. And it wasn't even a nice down the seam rip, it was like a two pronged rip down the back seem and out across the fabric to the side. There was no way to fix it well, so I just sewed it up, but luckily since the skirt is so full the odd seam is usually hidden in the folds. I wish it was in better condition still, ...but, ah well, these things happen. It won't do any good to live in fear of accidents and miss out on making use of fun things like this

I do NOT take any of my pictures with the intention that they be used as stock. I'm indecisive - that's why I post a lot of the 'same' stuff. However, if you really want to use one of them please note me, tell me your plan, and if I say ok link back to the picture you used.

well regardless you look wonderful in it, My boyfriend just suggested that if you have scraps left over you could always try to iron it an see what the results are.

Hmmm I like the wrinkley affect...it adds more places where the light can reflect and shine off it.

LOL, it seems like the dress that repairs itself! I really love the belt you chose to wear with it. and I WUV the fabric!! If it's that taffeta from Joanns, then yes, you can iron it, but on a low heat.

I got it at a place called M&L fabrics which is kind of like a pic 'n' save of fabric stores. They've got a ton of fabric, much of it very nice in fact, but it's mostly just folded and stacked to the ceiling so you really have to dig through stuff, and it's not on a bolt so there's no info about it, but it's all like 2 bucks a yard so it's worth it!

Very cool. Speaking of which, I DESPERATELY need to go shopping at the LA Fabric and fashion district again soon.
