Wrong In All The Right Ways:
Altered

Perhaps not as Taboo and looked down upon these days as some of the others but still a hot topic of conversation when it is seen in spades. That is right, the men and women of the world that don't have just a tattoo and their belly button pierced. Those that have had major work done.

I am talking multiple piercings, lip restructuring, ear reforming, ball bearings embedded under the skin, extensive tattooing that covers more than can be covered by a simple shirt and shorts. I have seen people with over 100 piercings and even read about people that were slowly tattooing their way into a cats and lizards.

You know what? Nothing wrong with that. It may not be my cup of tea and I may even stand and stare at them for a bit but you know what? Their choice and it is beautiful in its own way. It also brings up why I made this... What a person looks like or has done to their skin on the outside does not change them on the inside.

It is sad today that even some of the most open minded people still say... Well if you want the job you have to take out that piercing, cover those tattoos and cut your hair. Why? In an age where people are trying to be Anime Dolls in real life why does a few tattoos and piercings still make people run? It is a sad sad state of affairs.

So I raise this glass to you. The "Altered" of this world, may you continue to keep things interesting, different and wonderful.
