Description
A larger colony of trumpet cup lichens (Cladonia fimbriata) on an old sandstone statue in my home village. I always liked Cladonia lichens, because they are so diverse, but always a pain to identify the right species, due to many of them are so similar in appearance. Also, I tend to call cup lichens as Shrek ears, because just look at them...Hungary, 2023.11.25.
