I LOVE this. The expressiveness of the painting in that sweeping diagonal motion gives movement and a fiercness to the face which I can imagine just pops out at the viewer just for a moment before they blink theyre eyes and its gone. Great detail on the face especially the eyes which stare look as though they stare into the soul of the viewer. The texture of the paint works really well with the overall effec and also love the use of the paint splashes. the eyes are so captivating yet so disturbing at the same time.
the jagged paint strokes just help to express the distraught and pure anger in the subjects eyes and brings this piece to a more elevated height of awesomeness.
