Very apt description for such a neglected place. The rough textures work very well with the atmosphere and scattered debris, conveying an atmosphere of rubble and wear. The obscured light streaming in from the right-hand side of the piece adds a further sense of desolation within the building, as not only is it away from the light but is seemingly below it. However, I feel like the image could have been improved by not having as much light in the actual building, as the white is quite overpowering to the dark atmosphere. Nevertheless, nice shot!
