Hmm... But if you need his character notes, you see that he at least knows SOMETHING about Romania! 
I learned (Though it might not be accurate, I'm just deriving from the comics):
A witch is an actual profession in Romania, but if you make wrong predictions, your qualification can be revoked. 
Romania claims that he is an ancestor of Rome. 
Romania doesn't like Hungary, and a lot of Romanian jokes feature Hungarians.
Until a little while ago (1990) Romania's TVs were still black and white. 
Romania helped Bulgaria become a country 
Romania means "Land of Romans", and there are lots of Roman ruins there.
Romanian names lots of Roman and Roman god-derived names. 
Vlad III was a Romanian ruler inspired the original story of Dracula, but because of legends and different versions of history, it's hard to tell what he was like. medical treatments that you call "granny's wisdom" like eating garlic or drinking absinthe are often used in Romaniathe Romanian cuisine, and the specialties of surrounding countries, and also the food that came from the Osman Turks, can often be found all over Europe. And her character design isn't even stereotypical Ukrainian, it's just a fanservice design (GRRR). The stereotypical Ukrainian beauty (as heard in folktales and such) is a girl with brown/black hair usually in a long braid, brown eyes, and black brows <---yes that is important because "black-browed" in Ukrainian means beautiful [girl]. And she usually has moderate breasts, dammit! Even if you look at the girls in Kyiv today, it's mostly blonde/brown/black haired pretty girls with average bodies and (mostly) blue/brown/green eyes, or a mix of any two. 
And all the fanart of Ukraine is 
a. Normal, fun fanart (least common. but occasionally has historical value and NOT a crybaby face)
b. R-18
c. Kiss x Sis (very perverted incest show about 2 girls that want to do perverted things to their little brother)
d. An actually innocent picture of the 3 siblings.
But...Belarus has it the worst. That's just a mean portrayal.

But I agree that Himaruya at least got some of these facts right.Not sure about the absinthe and witch profession part tho but ok.

And his latest strips range from slightly historical or informal (0.1%) , Slightly character developing (1%) to Literally nothing (I mean, very random comedy-ish things) (54.9%) or Fanservice despised as another innocent nothing strip (44%)

Well, 'tis a bishounen series, after all...Scandinavia and the world kinda does the same thing, but there's a balance, it's kinda funny, and there are some facts. 
But check out Afghanisu-tan if anthromorphisized countries are really up your alley.
