Story
Turta was sat in the house swearing at the weather report, 'fucking heat wave my ass' she muttered as she zipped up her boots. Tom was asleep on the sofa as she left and she so wished it was her lying there. Even though Tom was the one riding Sassy in this showing season she was still the one training him once a week. Putting up her umbrella as she slushed through the 'British heat wave' towards the stable.
As she entered the stable block Sassy knew it was his day for training and cowered towards the back of his stall, not wanting to go out in the rain and ruin his shiny coat. Turta tried to coax him forward with polos but he was having none of that and stayed to the back. So Turta just had to go in and try and put a halter on a giraffe. Putting Sassy's saddle on, Turta promised him a warm soapy bath after the hard work and that seemed to make him easier to tack up. Both Turta and Sassy sulked as they walked out onto the cross country field but the sooner they got the training session done the sooner they could get inside and dry off. And sure as hell Sassy did amazing on the course with only one refusal at a ditch full of runny mud, understandable. They then cooled off on a walk back to the stables where Turta striped Sassy off and filled a bucket with warm soapy water.
