I know you're excited but you must be patient, comic making takes lots of time. Raven had already at one point put this comic on hold, she has decided to go back to it so do not be surprised if it takes her longer to work on these. She is mostly doing these for fun now and if she is inspired to do so, if I remember correctly. A new page has just been made. But please, do try to be patient.

ya know, i know Scar did not like Mufasa or was just consumed with jealousy or whatever but i always thought they looked cool together even when in conflict. I feel like they could have made a good team if fate was different like if there was some 3rd party that tried to kill both of them and had to work together or something

im not the oldest in my family but Im an over trusting nice guy with a smart older brother who hates me...if ya switch our ages by 2 years we're like Mufasa and Scar....ya know without the "literal" desire to kill me..."I hope" lets hope no zombie outbreak that gets ride of moral laws does not happen for me to find out right lol

As much as I understood Taka, I can't help but to hate Scar: just because he wasn't King or fell in love, he thinks he has the right to forbid it to his very own daughter, who he only treats as an object, blood that is. He didn't have enough with shunning her out from her stepmother Akina and to treat her like dirt himself, he has to take EVERYTHING away from her.
Dang it Scar, I honestly cannot believe Uru and Mufasa allow him to treat Zira like this. I wish Zira would tell him to shod off and go to live with Endesha, but sadly we know things never end like we wanted.

Damn, Scar... So, just because you didn't get the things you wanted in life the way you wanted them (he COULD have found love with Naanda, he could have found happiness), then no one else is allowed happiness too? Jerk doesn't even begin to cover it

I agree with you 100%, however I don't blame him for not falling in love with Naanda: she was a jerk to him from day one, isolated him from his brother and the rest of his friends and family, got him into trouble for stuff she did and treating him like trash ever since he was born, only for all of a sudden say she cares about him when she never ever showed or proved it. Personally I wouldn't have trusted Naanda either.
Plus, if we justify the fact that Sarafina couldn't try to love him, even if he was a sweetheart with her ever since she came to the world, we can't blame Taka for not to love Naanda either, specially knowing how bad she treated him. At least Scar did have a reason to not to try to love her.

Oh, I agree with the point of Naanda. What I meant is that he was the one that accepted her company, if he had told her to scram when she came to him, okay. He said yes, he spent time with her, so hey, if he accepted it, he might as well have tried to find love with her (He even asked Viccha that perhaps she could be "the one"). And when she came to him and told him she would stay if he wanted (before leaving with her family), he was a complete bastard to her. Not saying Naanda was a pure, innocent sweetheart, but after he had stayed with her...
And he could have found love somewhere else if not with Naanda. But he was too focused on Sarafina and after her refusal, he didn't want anyone else. Maybe I'm being harsh but it's like a child who wants a toy and if she doesn't get the toy she wants, she doesn't want anything else. I get feeling bad, it hurts, but those things happen, you get over it.
I would totally get if he had rejected Naanda too. As someone who was bullied almost to the point of suicide and to the point of addiction to cutting, I wouldn't EVER trust if some of those people came to me and trying saying that they loved me either.
I don't blame him for not loving Naanda, I blame him for how he dealt with this and how he is treating Zira now. Many people who suffered in life actually wish happiness to others and any parent would be happy that their children may have what they never had.
Scar HAD opportunities in his life and he just wasted them. Now he doesn't want even his own daughter to have what he didn't.

Oh I agree with that too: true, it's his fault for saying yes and then tell her to shod off. If he didn't trust her and didn't love her, which is understandable after being bullied and treated like crap for years because of her, he should have told her to leave him alone from the beggining, not having "fun" with her and then ditch her out. I do understand that he was vulnerable at the moment because his heart had just been broken, but still...he didn't handle it in the propper way as you said.
And yes, he could have tried to love someone that wasn't Sarafina or Naanda, not just close yourself completely because the only one you loved rejected you.
I am sorry you were bullied to that point, if it makes you feel better, I went through the same too until I turned 18, and I just turned 23 so believe me I understand you perfectly.
And yes, I agree, I understand he didn't love Naanda, but the way he treats Zira is uncalled for: if he didn't want any child, he should have never spent time with Naanda to begin with, it was his own fault. And it's barbaric the fact that he wants his own daughter to suffer or to take chances of happiness away from her just because he wasted and lost his very own. I understood and pitied Taka, but I feel nothing but contempt and hatred towards Scar.

Indeed. HE was the one that accepted her feelings and all and then acted as a complete jerk for no apparent reason in Naanda's eyes. And yes, Taka should just have told her to leave him alone, but he accepted her. If he did, then he might as well have given their relationship a shot (who's to say they wouldn't have solved their issues and be happy?).
Even if I consider Viccha's interference, he was still a jerk.

Exactly! Zira never did anything to him to deserve this and it's like he disliked her since the beginning for no reason (perhaps other than being Naanda's child as well). Any other parent would be happy that their child is finding a happiness they didn't have, but Scar is so damn selfish that he thinks he is the only one who deserves it.

If I were a parent I kinda agree with Scar on this one....I mean if I had a daughter I would want her to be with a strong yet kind person since over a weakling it makes sense in lion king since other lands get attacked and taken by warring lions also "Weakling" has a pretty different meaning where i live not talking about Strength and being buff more than i am Will and determination not alot of those where i live

That's not what Scar cares about at all. He cares that when he felt love, Sarafina denied him, so why should his daughter(who he never wanted and only cares about so she doesn't blow his over all motives). He cares that he wasn't chosen to be King, so why should his daughter be queen? He doesn't care that his daughter might be in love, but rather uses excuses like the one in this page to deny her love forever.
