Silly question, but why do you have two pen colors in your sketch? Is that part of your method?

The orange is lighter than the blue, and is my basic shapes, guide lines, etc. The blue is the more detailed sketch These two colors work well together without distracting because they are complimentary colors. Yellow with violet and red with green would be just as successful(if one didn't remind me of xmas that is.)
