I haven't painted my plant spirit character for so long now, I felt like doing it again. Even though it's just an eye for now, the Plant Spirit is still around and hiding in the bushes.
This will be turned into a large banner which I then use for displaying my table at conventions. When I find the time again, I will paint the plant spirit fully.

Very good concept. At first it is like the eye is peering through the leaves, but you also have the vines worked into the creature's anatomy. Beautiful. The entirely blue eye is also stunning with its depth and many different shades. Β

This is just a "simple" drawing with an eye and some leaves but this is still as amazing as a fullbody detailled drawing.

Ja gut ich muss aber auch gestehen, dass ich ziemlich selten Pflanzen zeichne und ich mich an Matte-Paints versuche |D

Ich habe matte paintings so ziemlich aufgegeben, weil die mich eigentlich wahnsinnig gemacht haben. Haha! Leute sagen, dass matte painting faul ist, aber ich finde, dass da mehr Arbeit und Zeit reinflieΓt als in ein klassisches 2D Bild. D: Deswegen hoher Respekt an dich und viel Erfolg!

naja es ist ein Unterschied, ob man wirklich richtiges Matte Paint oder Fotopansch macht! Ich finde, dass das ziemlich schwierig ist und macht ziemlich viel
Arbeit. Viele Artist kombinieren Matte-Paints mit klassischen 2D Artworks und es sieht bei vielen einfach nur unglaublich toll aus! Ich muss aber auch sagen,
dass Matte Paint auch schneller geht und man zeitlich eher an das Ergebnis kommt. Das kann man sehr gut in Artbooks zu vielen Videospielen sehen.
Klar es gibt auch welche, die zeichnen das alles selbst, aber viele Artists in dieser Branche stehen auch sehr oft unter Zeitdruck und MAtte-Paint ist da eben die
beste LΓΆsung! Das wollen viele wohl nicht wahrhaben und sagen auch deshalb, dass Matte-PAint garnicht toll ist und man sich da nicht viel MΓΌhe gibt 
Ich sag einfach. Kunst, egal wie man sie macht, ist sehr zeitaufwΓ€ndig
