Wrangler JK (3rd Generation)The Jeep Wrangler is a series of four-wheel drive compact to mid-size off-road SUVs manufactured by Jeep since 1986, and currently in its fourth generation. The Jeep Wrangler is a popular off-road car manufactured by the American company FCA Group (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) and sold under the Jeep brand. It is the successor to the Jeep CJ, the civilian version of the Willys MB, a military vehicle used by the United States Army in World War II.
The third-generation Wrangler was launched in 2006 for the 2007 model year. Developed under the ownership of DaimlerChrysler, the JK was Jeep's first Wrangler with a completely clean body, frame, and suspension design. New features for the Wrangler included power windows, remote power door locks, navigation, as well as electronically detachable sway bars on some models.
