Description
This was originally a photoshop-inked sketch I had to throw together in a hurry for a charity shirt collaboration. The theme? Songbird. XD I ended up starting on the last day of the deadline, but somehow managed to finish nonetheless. Whew! If it gets selected for inclusion, I'll try'n publicize so ya'll can satisfy your altruistic itch.Anyway, decided to color it and perhaps double it up as a deviant ID, so here's the final...a strange cyber-steam-box-punk birdy. Of course, I ended up remembering why I never try'n move any of my detailed sketches beyond the pencil stage. So time consuming! Kinda to the point where I'm too tired for final touches or any decent background, either. Gotta get into the actual semester now, so this'll have to do!

I only ever played FFX, and it's been years, but it wouldn't shock me if my mind was still feeding off it even now. Visual games tend to linger! Though in reality, I was going for "metal music-box chicken-bird". Makes me wonder if Chocobos were born from an equally mundane idea. o_o

Oh my gooosh, amazing! I love the feathery texture, definitely. Feathers have to be worse than fur, grrghfg. More blue in the shading, yay! I rather like the metallic feel the bird has on its mechanical parts. I rather like the colors you've picked out for this~

Thank ye. Actually, I just went and read some of the details, and I think I'm a little confused. Yes, it'll go on a shirt if selected, but I'm a little unsure as to where exactly the sales are going. This makes me a little concerned, perhaps I was mistaken? Hrmmmm. I'll let you know once I figure it out. :\
