Description
Tehran-IranGolestan Palace which is one of the many palaces of Iran's monarchies in the past.
It's an HDR image composed of 5 pictures with different exposure values ranging from -2 EV to +2 EV. The photos have been merged and post-processed in Photomatix and enhanced in Photoshop.
Still trying to figure out what's the best category for HDR images since essentially there is some manipulation (blending a number of pictures together) but not sure where it should fall!

great HDR! and finally one where the "enhancing" was not overdone. this is really perfect, brings out all the fine nuances. The outside looks like a painting

You're right...unfortunately the true picture of Iran has always been covered under the shade of politics, while the people of other countries have literally no chance to see the unveiled image of Iran's beauties. Breathtaking nature across the country, and numerous ancient places with eye-catching arts and handicrafts are all a must-see.

Now, unfortunately there seems to be no categories specified for HDR images on DA; therefor, you are left with two choices.
If your intention is to demonstrate a subject, concept, or style, then you shall pick the corresponding gallery as you have already done.
However, if you intend to focus and showcase your piece based on the technical process OF HDR then you should submit to
photography > darkroom > digital.

اول این که عکس ها رو قبل از این که توی فوتوماتیکس تنظیم کنی توی فوتشاپ تبدیل کردی به اچ دی آر یا کلا از فوتوماتیکس استفاده کردی؟
بعد این که به نظرت اگه فقط از یه عکس که اکسپوژورش توی فوتوشاپ کم و زیاد بشه هم اچ دی آر بزنیم به خوبی چند تا عکس واقعی میشه؟

dar morede soale dovom, behtarinesh chand ta ax hast (5 ta be bala). vali age az jayee ax migiri ke harekat toosh ziade mesle mardome too khiaboon oon vaght behtare ye akse RAW begiri va bad exposuresheo avaz koni va chand ta aks ba exposure haye mokhtalef az toosh dar biari. vali bayad tasvire asli RAW bashe ke hade aksare detailo dashte bashe.
