I've been in Tokyo for a short trip recently and some of my shots will be posted in the next few weeks.

This is a Pagoda located in Asakusa district in Tokyo. Pagodas are structures commonly built in east Asia (Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam,...) and are often located in or near a Buddhist temples. They traditionally have an odd number of stories and their purpose was to house relics, sacred writings, and remains of Buddha.
