Description It's been a while away from DA!

I had a chance recently to drive alone from Vancouver to Toronto. Almost 4500 km drive in 7 days, stopping at Osoyoos, Kelowna, Calgary, Regina, Winnipeg, Thunderbay, Sault Ste Marie, and finally Toronto. It was a unique experience that could be once in a life time. From green mountains in west, flat prairies in center and tons of lakes and rivers in east, I enjoyed all type of natures. Unlike what you might think (and what I was thinking before trip) I couldn't take that much artistic shots. But mostly travel photos that I will be gradually posting some of them in my scrap folder.

This shot is taken at Spotted Lake, near Osoyoos. To this day, the lake is protected by First Nation people and considered as scared site. Due to high concentration of minerals in the land and water it is also somehow therapeutic.

You can also see a panoramic view of the site here:

thanks man for the note! they're little tiny lakes which in summer the water evaporates and leave behind combination of different minerals on the ground.

My family used to drive past this all the time on summer vacations. I've always admired its beauty. Kudos for capturing it so well!
