Description I know I'm four years late to the party, but this meme looked like so much fun I had to do it.

Originally hand drawn in pencil, colored pencil and watercolor. Scanned and edited in Adobe PS.

You may notice the style changes kind of abruptly halfway through. I was using low-grade watercolor paper and I realized the colored pencil wasn't taking very well to the surface. Also I'm a novice on PS, so I started playing around with filters and the like. Basically, my apologies for the cheapo gradient backgrounds. :c

I think my favorites are the Lu-Ten panel, Jet/Mai and the rival ships.

Heh, Blue Spirit Zuko is pissed, and Lu Ten looks like Zhao, which is kind of creepy, if you think about it. Still pimpin like a boss though, a shame he never got to refine his skills

Yes, Mai is very under-rated, and I'm starting to think it's NOT because of her personality, but because she looks more realistic than most anime girls.

I know! I was so shocked when I joined the Avatar fandom and realized how much hate Mai was getting. During "Return to Omashu" I had a total "Aang is great...who is that" moment, and I've loved her ever since.

I get that they're both really pretty, and angular, but for my tastes that's not really enough of basis for a ship. Possibly I'm not creative enough!
