Needed to practice backgrounds and working faster
I'm feeling pretty proud of myself, I managed this in just over an hour, including youtube breaks I think I'm improving speed wise if nothing elseDone for the art jam. Depicting Shwish in her home environment, good old bushveld
Spring is on its way here, so green trees and possible looming thunderstorms in the background Critique is always loved and appreciated

Very cool! I like that the lighting is in front of Shwish. The shapes of the trees are really nice as well. Very natural. I always have problems making natural looking trees like that.
Critique-wise, the shadows look a bit too overly black to me. I'd suggest using a darker blue color instead. Though, really, it depends on the time of day you're going for.

Thanks for the critique! I appreciate it <3 I'm also not entierly sure about my monitors colours and contrast settings, when i look at my work on other screens it seems to bland and colourless :/ But that isnt really relevant i guess

Oh diddles this looks amazing! You really work well with all those vibrant colours and YOU DID IT IN SUCH A SHORT TIME OFHAOW It's just great
The only thing I can suggest is keeping an eye on your light source placement. Obviously with a thunderstorm, this can be very hard to define, so it's good to have a few shadows in certain places (such as under Shwish's feet). But apart from that it's amazing!

AFAFAF shadows what are they who needs shadows anyway? thanks Wyv, i actually had one tiny little braincell reminding me about that when i was paitning it, but it got outvoted by all my other braincells

You seem to be doing well to me, I think you've done well here not overdetailing it, the visible brushstrokes add to it rather than making it look unfinished.

they're not actually that detailed, its called photoshop and fancy brushes
