Voiceclaim: sounds a bit like the vocals to "Burned Out" by dodie
Personality: a pushy, caring and independent cat who is uncannily good at seeing through others' lies (as she's good at lying herself). She wasn't the first cat to see through Salmonstar 's lies, but she was the only one who was capable of remaining undetected, behaving the same as she did before she realized the true weight of her leader's crimes. She soon realized all of the veteran warriors were blindly loyal to Salmonstar- because the ones who hadn't been were executed in the past. She then had to turn to the younger clan cats and slowly but surely change their hearts and make them see what was going on. It was a much slower process than what she'd like, that's for sure, but it needed to be like that lest the rebels would be detected and killed. One of her biggest allies was the young Thriftpaw, the leader's kit who was left emotionally alone after the "bear incident" in the nursery. Heronscar (then, Heronpaw) began caring for the kit and they soon developed a sisterly bond. She did this both to ensure the rebellion would be successful but also because she genuinely wanted to help that small kit who was forced so early into apprenticeship just like her. Once Thriftpaw gained her warrior name, Thrifthop, the two (together with a few other apprentices) started discussing their plans and solidifying them, until on a fateful day Salmonstar discovered the truth, possibly from a rebel who had betrayed the group. The leader and her loyalists were absolutely enraged at their ideals and tried to attack the rebels to begin their executions and "purify" the clan. Unknown to them, Heronscar was hiding behind the leader's high rock and pounced on Salmonstar, startling them enough to let the rebels escape. She then faced the loyalists on her own, using battle techniques that were engraved on her mind since she was a kit and getting a bit of help from Starclan, as well. She died from bloodloss after managing to severely wound the loyalists and to get Salmonstar's lives to just one left. Starclan, then, hit the leader with lightning just before Heronscar's counsciousness faded completely.
Fun fact: Heronscar and her littermates grew up listening to stories of brave warriors and their wondrous feats of strenght in battle, and they decided there was nothing cooler than surviving a bunch of battles and having scars to tell the stories of what they went through! She unfortunately ended up loosing both her littermates fairly young, so she decided to "get enough scars for the three of them". By the end of her final battle, I'd say she had more than enough for three cats. That's why she died feeling surprisingly happy!
