Hey guys!

I know earlier within the year, I had released my OC Christine de Marten to all of you. But after going back and forth with how I wanted to write her character as well as her story, I thought it would be best that I reupload her and her character.

Originally, I was going to have her become a character that would be inserted into the first movie. But after a while, I felt that her and her life story would be too much to cram into the first movie's story. So I thought, why not give Christine her own story? Why not give you guys my own version of not only her story, but I how I felt that the original Hunchback of Notre Dame sequel should have gone (Or I guess in some cases, could have gone).

And Just to fill you guys in, I actually plan on making a three part series to Christine's story or stories (Reason being, I wanted to write another sequel afterwards that goes along with THoND II, but I thought it would be too difficult to include all of the characters that I wanted to feature all at once). So eventually, I'll be releasing each of the characters that come from both me as well as the original THoND II movie and the Victor Hugo novel.

Christine de Marten is the daughter of Paris' new minister of justice, Lord Jacque de Marten.

Though born to a wealthy socialite, Christine didn't always live her life in luxury. Not feeling any fulfillment as a socialite, Christine's father Jacque would work alongside his brother Armand as a soldier of Frollo's army. Her mother Anabelle was a working class citizen, making jewelry and selling them in a small shop, being the first woman in Paris to own a shop. Hence, where Christine got her jewelry making talents from. Although she lived a majority of her life being an only child, she was more than happy to welcome her newborn baby sister, Colette de Marten when she was well into her early teenage years.

All of that changed though when Christine was 14 years old, her mother was murdered by a romani man while running her shop one day and looking after baby Colette. When attempting to stop the murderer from killing her mother, the evil gypsy man threw a strong elixir into Christine's face, causing the young girl's eyes to burn and for her to go blind. After killing Annabelle, the murderer went further and stole baby Colette, leaving nothing but a pink satin slipper behind her.

Devastated by the loss of both Annabelle and Colette, and knowing that Christine would be defenseless without her eyesight, Jacque decided to keep his daughter locked up in their home out of fear of losing the only child from Annabelle that he had left and developing a small predjudice against romani men. Christine not only feels a great loss of both her mother and baby sister, but the loss of her freedom and eyesight. Although she understands the dangers of the outside world, she knows that life goes on and that it isn't good to stay cooped up in one place forever.

Four years go by and Christine has grown into a beautiful young isolated woman, though her living conditions have changed a little bit. After the death of Judge Claude Frollo, her father was elected as the new minister of justice and was very much more respected by the town due to his support for both the citizens and gypsies of Paris, having had a small change of heart after seeing the near genocide that Judge Claude Frollo had put the city of Paris are through. As a result of her father's promotion, Christine was now confined to the Palace of Justice while her brother resented his father for getting the position of power that he wanted, secretly planning to be rid of his father and stepsister once and for all.

One night after being fed up with her confinement, Christine finally takes matters into her own hands and with some assistance from Antione, sneaks out of the Palace of Justice and ventures out into the city of Paris. During her night out among the city, Christine is eventually left defenseless as two drunken thugs start to harass her, ready to take advantage of her. Though before Christine can truly be harmed, the infamous bellringer of Notre Dame comes to the blind girl's defense and beats the two thugs to a pulp, sending the two running as he threatens the Captain of the Guard on them. During the scuffle, one of the thugs had knocked Christine to the ground, knocking her unconcious. Concerned for her wellbeing and not wanting to leave her to the streets of Paris, Quasimodo took Christine and brought her back to Notre Dame in the safety of the bell tower.

When Christine wakes up in her new surroundings, she is soon greeted by the bellringer himself. Extremely grateful, Christine thanks Quasimodo for saving her life and the two get to know each other. They relate to each other in the sense of them both making arts and crafts (Quasimodo with his woodcarvings and Christine with her jewelry), knowing what it's like to be isolated from the world for a number of years, and being held back or discriminated against for having a physical impairment. Their growing friendship and trust in each other eventually develops into something much more later on.

Christine also develops a sweet friendship with Esmeralda and in doing so, the young woman is able to learn that not all romani people are bad like her stepbrother tells her. And although they've passed each other by in the Palace of Justice before, Christine and Phoebus are always friendly towards each other.

Once Christine realizes how far Antoine will truly go to get the tyrannical power that he wants, she must not only escape his wrath but also team up with Quasimodo, Esmeralda and the rest of the gang to stop her evil stepbrother once and for all.

So that's all I have for now on Christine's bio. As I continue working on my other Hunchback of Notre Dame stories featuring my self-insert, I will be working more on the plotline of Christine's story as well as the follow up to those stories, as well as the rest of the characters that go along with it.

And just a heads up, I will reupload Christine's big red dress at another time but instead of it being a typical socialite dress, it'll be more of a ball/gala dress that comes up during the story.
