These bizzare Terravermids quickly adapted once plants began to take over the mountains, beginning to adapt to dig through solid rock. As they burry through stone, they eat the minerals that come in, aswell as any plant roots that are in their way. Due to the surface of mountains being cold, they live entirely underground, never rising from underground, as they would quickly freeze if exposed to the surface. Their tendrils and faces have become encased in thick, rock like armor that they are able to make thanks to their diet of minerals. Depending on the minerals they have eaten in their lifetime, an individual can have different minerals mixed into their rocky mouth parts and facial armor, looking like ore veins.
