These Rhyncavermids quickly came onto land once the Aquamaphylus Marshes formed and quickly dominated underground niches, from decomposers to omnivores that supplement their usually herbivorous diets with smaller organisms and carrion. One species is capable of living in the vast deserts, getting all of their food and water from desert dwelling Astophyloids.
