Some weird half an hour sketch thingy in which I had to test how the face of Benedict Cumberbatch would work with pointed ears an long hair.And this is how. Why is he in the Hobbit as the Dragon again?
The character belongs to Tolkien, the Face to Cumberbatch himself. I only borrowed both.

And he's Smaug because a dragon needs an epic voice, of course! Not saying I don't hope they pull him up again for a very different role if we ever get any movies based on tales of the First Age, mind you. But their aren't many prominent Elf roles available in The Hobbit, and it would be a waste not to give him good lines.
